A very pleasant surprise. I grew up in Bensonhurst and meet childhood friends on an annual basis; this year I picked Aunt Butchies for no other reason than I bought myself a $100 gift card at Costco for $80! No one in our party of five had any experience eating dinner at Butchies (one had desserts at the Jersey shop), and we were all blown away with how good the food was. The staff and Butchie's family talked with us and showed us pictures of the name sake - very cordial and personable folks - I'll definitely go again. Oh, and a full dinner, party of 5 with wine only cost us $200 ($199 & change) - there was nothing to complain about!

They have very wide selection of dishes but they never miss. One of the best places on the island to eat.

Wonderful food and service in an elegant yet cozy (not small) place. I can't say enough about how delicious the food was.

My family and I dined at Aunt Butchie's yesterday afternoon for my birthday. This was our 1st time there. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was good. We ate baked clams and fried calamari as appetizers, both were good. My wife is gluten free, she had grilled chicken with broccoli, she said it was good. My daughters had chicken cutlet parmigiana and pesto pasta with grilled chicken, both liked it. I ordered the pork osso bucco. It was very good, tender and tasty. The portions were very good, so much so were couldn't eat dessert. I understand their desserts are very good, we will have to leave more room for next time. Thank you!

We dined at Aunt Butchies yesterday; usually order take out. My family and friends celebrated my birthday. AB's food is always freshly prepared and very good. Service is superb and ambiance just right. I had the special- Ink squid linguine with seafood. I wish they would have put less sauce on it. Once I mixed it, it was drenched in red sauce. Still, it tasted very good, but my lobster tail was very hard and gummy. My niece ordered Spaghetti Carbonara, it had too much bacon and barely any cheese. She barely ate. We took it home and I promised her to "fix it for dinner today". I still enjoy and favor AB's food, excellent service and ambiance. Overall, all appetizers and other dishes were very good. Aunt Butchies is still the best option for Italian food in the South Shore of Staten Island.

Thanks to one of my Cousins who decided I was in need of some large balls in my mouth! Awesome call!! These things are the size of large grapefruits!! I have had a lot of balls in my mouth over the years and no one's balls ever came close to my Grandpa John's balls. They were literally like butter in your mouth, but amazingly would still keep their shape when cut with a fork These ginormous balls are from Aunt Butchie's of Brooklyn & I HIGHLY recommend placing their balls inside your mouth too. You will NOT be disappointed!!! Also- THANK YOU Aunt Butchies for the cookies!!! Your 7 layer cookies are also worth inserting s and WAY UP!!!!

The first thing that astounded me about Aunt Butchies was how calm and not-crowded it was for a Saturday night at an Italian restaurant in Staten Island. We had reservations, but there was plenty of room. The menu was expansive, having everything you'd expect from an Italian restaurant- the calamari, the chicken, the pasta, the steak. I always order the same thing from every Italian place- penne alla vodka with crispy chicken. Though this combo wasn't on the menu, the staff were more than accommodating (and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to add it.) service was quick, the food was good, and overall it was a good meal.
